IASL Conference

The International Association of School Librarianship meets every year in  the  Annual Conference in order to provide an International forum where it’s possible to discuss issues and share research findings and  experience related to the school librarianship, the school library/librarian’s role in the learning process, information literacy education and learning outcomes etc.

In 2009 the Annual IASL Conference will be hosted in Italy (Abano Terme) and organized by the University of Padua and the Italian Library Association. The Conference Coordinator is Prof. Donatella Lombello.

Accomodation

Abano Terme (near Venice and Padua) is a SPA town which can be easily reached through airport Venice or by train from Padua (10’),Venice (from 34’ up about 60’), Milan (about 3h), and Bologna (1h 30’).
